Shift Manager, Food

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and supervise employees to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient operations
- Assign shift work assignments and monitor employee performance
- Conduct cash outs and forward discrepancy reports to management/accounting
- Complete shift reports for management and the next shift
- Direct the day-to-day activities of Food & Beverage employees
- Organize and assist with conducting monthly inventory counts and forward inventory reports to management
- Assist in maximizing revenue and minimizing operating costs
- Develop and cultivate exceptional customer experiences and memories
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or hotel management or equivalent experience
- SIR, Smart Serve, or IGB certification
- Food Safe Level 1 & 2 certification
- Computer literacy in MS Office and POS experience
- Minimum 1 year of food and beverage team lead experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
