About the Opportunity

This exciting role with TAG HR presents a chance to lead training and development initiatives at a not-for-profit organization.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$70,000 per year, in addition to up to 3 weeks of vacation and generous PTO (paid-time off).

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ~3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on training and development;
  • ~ Experience designing and delivering adult training/education programs;
  • ~ Formal education in learning theories and training methodologies;
  • ~ Strong proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms;
  • ~ Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities

If hired, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and designing training programs while delivering onboarding and group/individual training to meet staff needs;
  • Supporting leadership in developing training skills and providing advice to managers, directors, and board members;
  • Tracking training outcomes, evaluating performance, providing feedback, and reporting skills gaps or performance issues;
  • Oversight and ensuring compliance with training program budgets;
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate administrative and HR documentation;
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, collective agreements and health and safety standards;
  • Attending meetings and providing training, orientations, and supervision for students, volunteers, and work placements.
