We are a bakery company that specializes in traditional Filipino pastries and desserts. We are looking for a skilled Baker to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Baker to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and breads. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced bakery environment and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and breads according to recipes and special customer orders.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that they are completed to a high standard.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
  • Draw up production schedules to ensure that all products are made on time.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and hygienic.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced bakery environment and be able to stand for long periods. The physical demands of the job include lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
