About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Uncle Tetsu Robson Inc. as a Pastry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and breads to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Setting: The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
