Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer incoming sales calls from customers and/or outside sales staff to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound & outbound cold calls and emails to expand our customer base.
- Identify customer's buying trends and provide valuable insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Enter, update, and maintain information on leads, prospects, and opportunities in our CRM system.
- At least 2 - 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the lumber industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Computer skills are a definite asset to efficiently manage data and communicate with stakeholders.
- A reliable vehicle is required for some outside sales calls.
