Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Bookkeeper to join our team in Bonnyville, Alberta or Cold Lake, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial record-keeping in a cloud-based ecosystem, processing payables, receivables and payroll, and recording general journal entries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial record-keeping in a cloud-based environment
  • Processing of payables, receivables and payroll
  • Recording of general journal entries
  • Completion of bank and other account reconciliations
  • Preparation of GST and other tax returns
  • Preparation and generation of periodic client reporting packages

The ideal candidate will have excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software including QBO, Xero and various related apps, as well as an interest in technology and innovation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • No experience necessary but Bookkeeping Certificate is required
  • Minimum 2 years full cycle public accounting experience in a cloud ecosystem is an asset
  • Excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to meet tight deadlines
