About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Whistler. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations during the overnight shift, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of Front Desk staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Front Desk during the overnight shift, ensuring efficient check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Direct and supervise Front Desk staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent guest service.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure a smooth transition of duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures, reviewing paid-outs, rebates, and petty cash disbursements.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist guests with inquiries and special requests, providing personalized service and exceeding expectations.
- Conduct regular tours of the hotel to oversee operations across all departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Requirements:
- Previous significant experience in a Front Office position or related role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service.
- Previous supervisory experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Opera PMS experience preferred, but not required.
- Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong commitment to service, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Category 5 Driving License (unrestricted Category 4 is an advantage).
- Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
