Drive Sales Growth with Lightspeed
Lightspeed is seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Team Lead to join our North American Retail team. As a key member of our Outbound Sales team, you will be responsible for driving local teams to generate and qualify leads for the sales department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to team members
- Analyze and report on pipeline metrics to inform sales strategies
- Develop and implement outbound initiatives to maximize team performance
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop new strategies and grow the sales pipeline
- Drive performance to consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
Requirements:
- Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in a solution-sales/technology-related environment
- Strong understanding of sales development best practices
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
- 2+ years of experience coaching/leading a team
- A love of numbers and a quantitative approach to making decisions
- A love of coaching and helping team members evolve in their sales careers
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Proficiency in English
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias toward action, and an ability to pivot when needed to meet business needs and objectives
