Job Summary:

Mohawk is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Director to drive business growth and lead a high-performing sales team in Canada. As a key member of our commercial sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our market share and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key clients across all commercial segments, leveraging your expertise in sales and marketing to drive growth and revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach a team of 5-7 Account Executives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their sales targets and develop their skills.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address any issues.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, marketing teams, and clients, to ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.

Requirements:

  • Education: Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
  • Skills: Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels.
  • Travel: Expect to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
