Regional Sales Director Opportunity

Mohawk is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth in Canada. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted business strategies with key clients across all commercial segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5-7 Account Executives in achieving sales results and growing the Mohawk brand in Canada.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand Mohawk's presence in the Canadian market.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to align commercial sales business plans with regional strategies and objectives.
  • Represent the commercial business unit by implementing trade activity calendars and exploiting business opportunities to strengthen the brand position in the marketplace.
  • Ensure sales activities in the assigned area comply with established policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Knowledge of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts.
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Mohawk's diverse business and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data.
  • Maintaining professionalism and utilizing appropriate conflict resolution methods in all situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, sales strategies, and/or programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
