Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Director to lead our Western Canada region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Key Account Program: Set quarterly goals for key accounts, provide support and information to district managers, and call on national, strategic, and key account customers to develop relationships and promote products and services.
  • Sales Support: Work with regional vice presidents and district managers to develop and facilitate sales training initiatives, work on strategies for sales territory coverage, rate initiatives, and fleet on rent goals, and work with human resources on recruitment and development of outside sales representatives.
  • Operational Support: Work with regional vice presidents to develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies, support fleet rent ready standards, and develop and implement facility appearance standards for all facilities in the region.
Requirements
  • College degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of proven sales experience
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop subordinates
  • Ability to operate across all functions of the company from senior levels down
  • Previous proven supervisory skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Must be able to motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others
  • Proven ability to drive results in a manner consistent with Sunbelt values and goals
  • Extensive overnight travel required
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
