About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scheduling and risk management planning, with experience in managing complex projects.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Supervise project delivery schedules and support risk management planning functions at a project level.
  • Create and maintain dashboard reports using database information within the scheduling platform.
  • Integrate project schedule data from various sources, including Prime Consultants and Contractors.
  • Perform schedule integrity tests on a continuous basis.
  • Analyze project progress and provide expertise in planning and monitoring.
  • Support the preparation and regular updating of risk registers and cost reports.
  • Conduct project schedule audits to ensure schedules meet company expectations.
  • Assist in schedule coordination efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules for specific scopes of work using scheduling software.
  • Monitor and report project metrics to the project team and directors.
  • Identify problems or conflicts in the project schedule and assist in resolving them.
  • Propose solutions to recover schedule slippages and prevent cost overruns.
  • Implement Project Controls procedures and enforce compliance with company guidelines.
  • Support the director in reporting project controls information, including schedule status, cost performance, and variance analysis.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Set up claims avoidance methodologies to minimize potential risks.

Client Relationship Management



  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess:



  • A minimum of 5 years of construction scheduling experience.
  • University graduation or professional certification (P. Eng, PMI-SP, PSP, or equivalent courses).
  • Excellent knowledge of the Critical Path Method and industry standards.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling multi-phased projects of high complexity.
  • Proven ability and experience in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, and within specifications.
  • Strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Primavera P6 and MS Project).
  • Desirable: Project Management Institute Accreditation (PMP, PMI-SP), AACE PSP, or in progress.

Salary Range


The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
