Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire construction process from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely billings to owners and ensure timely payment of subcontractor invoices.
  • Regularly analyze and forecast project cost reports to maintain a positive cash flow and ensure compliance with estimates.
  • Lead project meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project progression and team development.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in business development initiatives to drive growth and expansion of the General Contracting division.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to internal staff to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information using Autodesk Build and Microsoft Project.
  • Assist with estimating, tendering, and job showings as required.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects in the ICI or Condo/Apartment Building industry.
    • An architectural or engineering diploma or degree is considered an asset.
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of CCDC Contracts and Construction Law is essential.
    • A passion for interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership development is required.
    • Impeccable integrity and a willingness to learn and grow professionally are essential.
    • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills are necessary.
    • Experience with COR (Certificate of Recognition) is considered an asset.
