About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Expert to join our team in Canadian Banking.

Company Overview

The TD Global Compliance Department is responsible for overseeing Regulatory Compliance across TDBG in accordance with the Global Compliance Framework.

Job Description
  • Provide guidance, oversight, and expertise to Canadian Banking businesses on regulatory requirements and controls.
  • Assist the businesses in managing their regulatory compliance and conduct risk.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Regulatory Change Management: Provide input on proposed changes to regulatory requirements or guidelines.
  2. Maintain Inventory of Requirements: Maintain inventories of the regulatory requirements applicable to the business.
  3. Detective Activities: Detect and mitigate violations of regulatory or internal policy requirements.
  4. Regulatory Engagement: Assist with responding to regulatory examinations and investigations.
  5. Risk Assessment: Assess the overall state of the business' Compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of Canadian banking products, policies & processes.
  • Previous experience related to regulatory compliance, legal, or risk management.
  • An ability to understand regulatory requirements and apply that knowledge to business-specific scenarios.
What We Offer

This role offers a competitive salary range of $76,800 - $115,200 CAD per year.
