Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at United Bakery Manufacturers Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes and special customer orders.
- Team Leadership: Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Staff Management: Schedule staff, oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, and make hiring and dismissal decisions.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team are essential for success in this role.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
