About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Retail Stores to lead our retail operations in Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic imperative, growth, and expansion of our retail stores in Canada, delivering AFP and commercial KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the Canada DTC stores strategy, delivering AFP, KPIs, and qualitative targets.
  • Manage franchise partner growth plans in line with DTC strategy, leading the franchise channel to success and supporting wider Canada commercial priorities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers and landlords, driving a strong network across the market.
  • Lead a team of District Managers, Area Managers, and Specialists, fostering a culture of consumer centricity, inclusion, high performance, brand elevation, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute operational plans for all retail store initiatives, including process improvements, policy & governance, product flow, peak season planning, labor management, workflow management, and other health and safety contingencies.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations to optimize process improvements across product flow, supply management, and budgeting and inventory control/RFID.
  • Oversee back-of-house processes, logistics, deliveries, transportation, and allocation, ensuring proper control of company assets and merchandise.
  • Partner with Global DTC and cluster teams to develop training content and effective communication platforms with stores.
  • Drive 4W operating expense efficiency targets in line with AFP.

Requirements:

  • Eight to ten years of experience in retail/direct-to-consumer experience, ideally within the Canada market, with a focus on people leadership, consumer-centricity, and in-store operations in a multi-store environment.
  • Strong and inspiring people leader, with experience of elevating capabilities, improving engagement, and establishing a clear approach to talent management.
  • Motivated self-starter with a bias to action, understanding of and experience with delivering objectives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Ability to partner with others, including the Director of Omnichannel Operations, and drive end-to-end process management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
