Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Acute Care department. The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) Collective Agreement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CURRENT REGISTRATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF NURSES OF ONTARIO
  • B.C.L.S Certification
  • Successful completion of Coronary Care One course within 6 months
  • Competency to perform added nursing skills as required
  • Ability to work effectively in an active, rapidly changing environment with multiple demands
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to focus on complex instructions and tasks in an environment with many distractions
  • Ability to function as a team member and maintain good interpersonal relations while performing duties
  • Physical ability to lift, pull, push, carry, reach, and physically support patients with assistance as required
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with repetitive bending
