Located approximately 100 kilometres east of Toronto, Northumberland Hills Hospital is a vibrant community hospital delivering a broad range of acute, post-acute, outpatient and diagnostic services. Directly serving a growing population of more than 60,000 residents spread across a mix of urban and rural settings, NHH directly employs approximately 750 people and relies on the additional support provided by a highly engaged and supportive network of physicians, midwives and volunteers.
Job OverviewWe are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team in various medical float roles. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients or groups of patients as assigned, adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses.
Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform professional nursing care to patients or groups of patients as assigned
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Competency in performing added nursing skills as required
- Ability to work in an active, rapidly changing environment with multiple demands
- Relocation incentive available for out-of-province applicants
- Refer a friend program offering incentives for both referree and referred
- Canada Student Loan Forgiveness program available for eligible applicants
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal reference check within sixty (60) days of employment
- Completion of Health Care Worker Health review process within thirty (30) days of employment
