Medical Professionals Sought for Inpatient Units

Located in the vibrant community of approximately 60,000 residents east of Toronto, Northumberland Hills Hospital is a prominent healthcare institution delivering a wide range of acute, post-acute, outpatient and diagnostic services.
The hospital directly employs around 750 individuals and collaborates with an engaged network of physicians, midwives, and volunteers to provide comprehensive care to its patients.
We are seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses to join our team in various inpatient units, excluding ICU and Birthing Suites. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients, adhering to the standards of the College of Nurses.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A valid B.C.L.S.
- Competency to perform additional nursing skills as required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Capacity to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift, pull, push, carry, reach, and support patients when needed
- Willingness to obtain a minimum of Coronary Care 1 within six months of employment
Previous experience in a medical/surgical unit is considered an asset.
Successful applicants will be eligible for a relocation incentive of up to $15,000, as well as other benefits, including Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and New Graduate Initiative.
In accordance with Northumberland Hills Hospital's policy, successful incumbents will be required to provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal reference check and complete the Health Care Worker Health review process.
This position offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working arrangement may be considered subject to operational needs. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $80,000 to $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.
