Job Title: Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Laura-Jo Inc. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our business operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team and ensure effective communication
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone calls and relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
  • Maintain and manage digital databases and perform data entry
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, work in a team environment, and demonstrate flexibility and reliability
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, SharePoint, QuickBooks, and Google Drive
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre or clothing/textile manufacturing company.
