Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

The Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the department's mandates and achieving corporate objectives. This position requires close collaboration with operations, production, and planning teams to respond effectively to customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, a high degree of rigor, and a good knowledge of the operational functioning of a distribution center. They will be comfortable working at their desk and on the floor, and will be involved in the whole process of quality, integration, and training of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Central point of communication for customer requests and inquiries
  • Responsible for planning and releasing work to meet customer priorities
  • Supports the admin team in complying with customer practices and procedures
  • Follows up to ensure contract compliance
  • Validates new customer requests
  • Coordinates with supervisors and coordinators to meet deadlines
  • Manages various mailboxes and carriers
  • Coordinates communications between departments
  • Enters data and organizes activities for maximum efficiency
  • Classifies contracts and customer-related documents
  • Suggests improvements and creates documents for current processes

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in customer service or work planning
  • Versatility and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Good command of French and English, both written and spoken
  • Mastery of the Office suite and computer literacy
  • Knowledge of WMS and transport software an asset
