Research FocusThe successful candidate will lead a research program that explores the critical role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in driving sustainable economic and societal growth worldwide, with a particular focus on rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a world-class research program in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation
- Establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Integrate meaningful collaborations with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research and knowledge creation
- Conduct research that examines the crucial role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in contributing to sustainable economic and societal growth
- Teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels
The successful candidate will hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a related field. They must demonstrate a strong potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
