Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a tenure-track position as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Edwards School of Business. The successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Edwards School of Business. The successful applicant will be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair and will have access to the Business Research Integration Group at Edwards, or BRIDGE, which facilitates connections between researchers, industry, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth
- Develop world-leading research programs and establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Collaborate with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field
- Demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research
