The Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track, Tier 2 Canada Research Chair appointment in Community-based Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This CRC aims to develop world-leading research programs and establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan. Researchers at Edwards are transforming business scholarship through socially impactful research.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead a research program in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation
- Establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Collaborate with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Lead entrepreneurial thought and action at the University of Saskatchewan
Candidates must hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field and demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research. Tier 2 Chairs are intended for exceptional emerging scholars.
