We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a tenure-track position as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Community-based Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
As a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair, you will have access to the Business Research Integration Group at Edwards, or BRIDGE, which facilitates connections between researchers, industry, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a research program in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation
- Collaborate with community partners to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Teach and mentor students in the Edwards School of Business
- Contribute to the development of the University of Saskatchewan's research strategy
Candidates must hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field and demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research.
Tier 2 Chairs are intended for exceptional emerging scholars, and candidates on maternity leave will be considered when reviewing the candidate's record of research achievement.
What We OfferThe successful applicant will be appointed as a tenure-track or tenured faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Edwards School of Business and will be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair.
