We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Edwards School of Business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented researcher to lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be appointed as a tenure-track or tenured faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Edwards School of Business and will be nominated for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair. The Chair will lead entrepreneurial thought and action at the University of Saskatchewan, integrating collaborations with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research.

Candidates must hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field and demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research. The successful applicant will have a strong track record of research achievement and a clear vision for their research program.
What We OfferThe University of Saskatchewan is one of Canada's top 15 research-intensive universities, located on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis in Saskatoon, known for its quality of life and diverse economic base. The Edwards School of Business has an undergraduate program with approximately 2,500 students and an expanding set of graduate programs, including a new research-based M.Sc. in Management and an MBA program. The successful candidate will have access to the Business Research Integration Group at Edwards, or BRIDGE, which facilitates connections between researchers, industry, and community partners.
