About the Role

We are looking for a skilled sales professional with 5-10 years of experience in the maritime, defense, or upstream energy sectors. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new enterprise customers, presenting and promoting our products and custom solutions, and building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.

Your success will be measured by your ability to drive revenue growth, expand our market presence, and develop strategic partnerships that support the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage new enterprise customers worldwide to expand our market presence.
  • Present and promote Virtual Marine's products and custom solutions to existing and potential clients using proven sales methodologies.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across sectors such as upstream energy, maritime training, defense, and Coast Guard/Search and Rescue (SAR).
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to revenue recognition.
  • Conduct market research to inform targeted sales initiatives and support company growth and profitability.
  • Develop and support an international dealer network to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally in an open, transparent environment to achieve company objectives.
About You
  • You have 5-10 years of sales experience in the maritime, defense, or upstream energy sectors, with a proven record of sales achievement.
  • You possess strong technical knowledge and experience with simulation technology is a plus.
  • You have established expertise in maritime training, upstream energy, defense, and Coast Guard/SAR industries.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
  • You possess excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple accounts and meeting deadlines.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media tools.
  • You can understand and present the product catalogue while discussing custom solutions based on client needs.

As a Global Maritime Sales Strategist, you will receive a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
