AV Technical Sales Professional

Establish a strong presence in the maritime industry by driving global sales initiatives for Virtual Marine, a Canadian leader in maritime safety. Reporting to the President and CEO, you will play a key role in expanding the company's international sales and building global relationships within the maritime, defense, and upstream energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to identify and engage new enterprise customers worldwide.
- Promote and sell Virtual Marine's products and custom solutions to existing and potential clients using proven sales methodologies.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline across sectors such as upstream energy, maritime training, defense, and Coast Guard/Search and Rescue (SAR).
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to revenue recognition.
- Conduct market research to inform sales initiatives and support company growth and profitability.
- Develop and support an international dealer network to expand market presence.
- 5-10 years of sales experience in the maritime, defense, upstream energy sectors or similar industries, with a proven record of sales achievement.
- Experience in managing a sales process, as well as in developing sales strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge and established expertise in maritime training, upstream energy, defense, and Coast Guard/SAR industries.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
- Skilled in contract negotiation and closing complex deals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills for managing multiple accounts and meeting deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and social media tools.
