Job Title: Lead, Document Control

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead, Document Control to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our document management team, you will be responsible for leading a small team in supporting various exciting projects, including a large transportation project in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and assess the implementation of Document Management procedures and processes.
  • Ensure Project documentation are received, tracked, and monitored according to Document Management Plan.
  • Develop and provide training, guidance, and coaching to other Document Controllers, internal and external users to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reporting metrics of all pertinent document control functions.
  • Provide document management oversight on the project and ensure that systems and procedures are being properly utilized.
  • Responsible to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of tools, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of previous experience in a document management role within the construction, infrastructure, or related industry.
  • Proven experience in all areas of document management, including issue, creation, retrieval, and retention, supporting large-scale projects.
  • Proven ability in managing and developing Document Controls systems, tools, processes, and procedures within the engineering and construction sector.
  • Proficient experience with Aconex, including Microsoft Office Suite, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to proactively identify project document management needs and work effectively within a fast-paced environment with various deadlines and competing priorities.
  • High school diploma is required; studies related to the field are an asset.
