Heavy Duty Mechanic Trainee Position

Job Description: Heavy Duty Mechanic TraineeThe Heavy Duty Mechanic Trainee will perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles under close supervision. The ideal candidate will work with the assistance of licensed technicians, shop supervisors, and managers to develop their skills and knowledge in a productive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs under limited supervision.
- Work alongside experienced technicians to learn new skills and techniques.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers and other tools.
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree preferred in a related field.
- One year or more of combination classroom training and work experience in mechanical repairs.
