Heavy Duty Mechanic Technician

Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic Technician to join our team in a competitive salary position. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues on various heavy-duty vehicles.
Responsibilities- Diagnostics and repairs of diesel and gas engines, transmissions, braking systems, refrigeration units, and other vehicle components
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Mentor and train junior technicians on proper repair procedures and best practices
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, with minimal downtime for customers
- H.S. diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
- 4+ years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics, preferably with ASE certifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with computer-aided diagnostic tools and shop management software
- Valid Class G driver's license and good driving record
- A competitive salary ranging from $36.50 to $39.00 per hour, depending on experience
