Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Technician Apprentice to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Technician Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs on different types of vehicles.

You will be responsible for performing standard vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs under close supervision. You will also diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools and identify root causes of basic failures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools
  • Identify root causes of basic failures and perform necessary repairs
  • Work with experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • H.S. diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree in related field preferred
  • At least one year of experience in mechanical repairs on heavy duty equipment
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to read and understand technical information
