At Niagara Children's Centre, we are committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation services to children and youth with physical, developmental, and communicative delays and disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work with children and youth in a variety of settings, including schools, homes, and community-based programs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • To assess and treat children and youth with a range of abilities and needs, using evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • To develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
  • To participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who possesses:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a recognized equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and youth with complex needs, preferably in a pediatric rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
