Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Lifemark - St. Catherines Physiotherapy Centre. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions. You will work independently and as part of a team to create holistic, individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment
  • Participate in case conferences and case management
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team, stakeholders, and other Occupational Therapists
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Solid experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
  • Experience in Occupational and Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset
  • Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
  • Excellent oral, written, and report-writing skills
  • Proficiency with computers and new technology
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
