Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work to improve participation and quality of life through a child's ability to perform role-appropriate, day-to-day tasks necessary for self-care (such as feeding, dressing, toileting).

This involves assessment, identification of strengths and needs, goal-setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, then discharge.

This position may require working with children and youth with complex profiles of needs to deliver an interdisciplinary approach to care with community partnering agencies in an outreach capacity in the home, community, or school.

Requirements

Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy; School-Based Rehabilitation; Autism Spectrum Disorders for Preschoolers; sound understanding of OT amongst children and youth; Vaccination Policy.

Benefits

Full-time, Permanent, Fixed-term contract; $70 per hour; Monday to Friday.
