As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at our St. Thomas location, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in St. Thomas. The successful candidate will possess excellent assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop personalized therapy care plans for patients in their homes, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety.
  • Partner with clients, family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals and service plans.
  • Utilize a hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual sessions, to build a schedule that suits your needs and those of your patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized post-secondary program.
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
