About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a senior culinary role and be proficient in English.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of food costs, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Demonstrating new cooking techniques and equipment to staff members to enhance their skills
  • Supervising specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to achieve seamless workflow
  • Instructing cooks on food preparation, presentation, and handling
  • Preparing complete meals for special events like banquets
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies to meet demand
  • Training staff in food preparation, safety, and hygiene practices
