Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Data Analyst to join our team at Fraser Health. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with data to improve patient care and outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual who has experience working with medical data. The successful candidate will be responsible for abstracting and coding data, performing statistical analysis, and generating reports. They will also work closely with other departments to ensure that data is accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities
  • Abstract and code medical data according to established standards and procedures.
  • Perform statistical analysis of data to identify trends and insights.
  • Generate reports on data analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an approved Health Record Administrator or Health Record Practitioner diploma program.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian College of Health Record Administrator's examination at the Certificant level.
  • At least one year's recent experience working with medical data, including abstraction, coding, and statistical analysis.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
