About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Compensation Strategist to join our team at Fraser Health.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of physician compensation strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to analyze financial data and develop comprehensive compensation plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of physician compensation, including database management and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports on time, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and planning purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior administrative and medical leadership, physicians, and other relevant parties.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A CPA designation and/or university degree in a related field.
  • Seven to ten years of relevant managerial and supervisory experience in a large, complex environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership practices, including clear, caring, and courageous approaches.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
Location

This opportunity is located in New Westminster, BC, at our Uptown Latitude building.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is approximately CAD $94,000 - $123,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
