Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Health Records Administrator to join our team at Fraser Health. This role will work closely with the BC Trauma Registry Leader and other team members to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data in the Trauma Registry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Interpret and abstract data from various sources, including medical records and other documentation.
  2. Score data by injury and enter it into the Trauma Registry in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  3. Compile statistical data and perform analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  4. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with the BC Trauma Registry Leader and other team members to develop and implement policies and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Diploma in Health Record Administration or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in data interpretation and analysis, preferably in an acute care setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) and Injury Severity Scoring.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
