Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in working collaboratively with our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) team to ensure compliance with federal regulations and international standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HSQE policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the marine industry.
  • Strong knowledge of federal health and safety regulations and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
