Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a live plant environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Must have 2 years' experience working in a live plant and be clean shaven
  • Valid confined space training, experience building and installing trench boxes, experience working in a confined space, dewatering (pumping water & setting up pumps)
  • Ability to work in muddy congested work areas

Requirements

  • CSTS 2020 certification
  • WHMIS 2015 certification
  • Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness from Eneregy Safety Canada
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Ground Disturbance 201 (Level 2)
  • Confined Space Training Entry & Monitor from Energy Safety Canada
  • Fall Protection Certificate from Energy Safety Canada
  • Valid class 5 Driver's License
  • Drivers abstract - must be a minimum of 3 years and within 30 days
  • Other certification may be required based on site requirements

Additional Requirements

  • Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
  • Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
    • Breath Alcohol Test
    • Urine Drug Test
    • Fit for Work Test
    • Vision Test
