Job Title: Groundskeeper

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team at Niagara National Golf and Country. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our golf course and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the golf course and grounds, including mowing, trimming, and pruning trees and plants.
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod and seeding.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks to ensure the grounds look their best.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and pruners.
  • Write daily progress reports to keep management informed of tasks completed.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
