Human Resources Director

Adecco Canada is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a full-time permanent role in Ottawa, ON. This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionThis HR Manager role will involve working closely with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's diversity and inclusion goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining talent acquisition strategies to attract top candidates;
- Ensuring that hiring practices align with labor laws and regulations;
- Providing guidance on company policies, procedures, and employee benefits;
- Supporting managers in addressing employee performance and conduct issues, including conflict mediation and coaching;
- Leading performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans;
- Assisting employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and inquiries;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends and regulations, ensuring Adecco Canada remains competitive and compliant.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A college or university degree in Human Resources;
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL, CHRE) is a strong asset;
- At least 5 years of experience in a HR Manager role, ideally in the non-profit sector;
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations;
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration;
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
- Bilingual (English/French) communication skills are essential.
