About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at NBC. As a key member of our Commercial Banking department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small to medium-sized businesses in the Quebec region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop new products and services
  • Conduct financial analyses and develop financing scenarios to support client needs
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of products with clients to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies
  • Identify business opportunities in the market for NBC's products and services
  • Participate in market visibility activities to promote NBC's brand and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients
Requirements
  • University degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, economics)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
