Job Title: Nursery Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically demanding Nursery Labourer to join our team at Clearview Horticultural Products Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks in our greenhouse and outdoor production areas, including cleaning, pruning, and harvesting crops. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent physical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain greenhouse and outdoor production areas
  • Prune and harvest crops, including perennials, bedding plants, and seasonal plants
  • Mix and prepare soils for planting
  • Plant bulbs and seeds, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean work area and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent physical abilities, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Reliability and punctuality
