About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Nursery Labourer to join our team at Clearview Horticultural Products Inc. As a key member of our greenhouse operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth production of high-quality plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, greenhouses, and surrounding areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Greenhouse Operations: Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants, as well as mix and prepare soils for optimal plant growth.
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care for optimal growth and health.
  • Task Management: Assist in harvesting seedlings, seed cutting, weeding, and transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain the work area, including equipment and tools.
Work Environment

As a Nursery Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to wet/damp conditions, odours, and varying temperatures.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn is essential for this position.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
