About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Labourer to join our team at Clearview Horticultural Products Inc. as a Nursery Labourer - Greenhouse Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Clean the crops, greenhouses, and surrounding areas to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Soil Preparation: Mix and prepare soils for planting and re-potting.
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
  • Task Management: Assist in harvesting seedlings, seed cutting, weeding, and transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Clean the work area and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Environment: The work site environment is outdoors, with exposure to floriculture production, wet/damp conditions, odours, hot and cold temperatures.
  • Physical Capabilities: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
