About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at RCR Hospitality Group. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking and restaurant management, with experience in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. They will also have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, as well as supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and order supplies and equipment.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Cooking Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Educational Background: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this workplace.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer dental plan, health care plan, vision care benefits, and other financial benefits as per collective agreement.
