Job Description:

Sushi Nami Royale Downtown is seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual to plan and execute menus, prepare and cook high-quality sushi dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Prepare and cook a variety of sushi dishes, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment is an asset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

This role requires working on site at our downtown restaurant location. We do not offer remote work options.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. A competitive benefits package will also be offered.
